Spring surprise

I noticed a blue spot in my backyard a few days ago. As it turns out, I think a neighborhood dog left something behind last fall. :)

This probably isn't one of the most artistic shots but the combination of the color and setting made it a fun, favorite for me. And that's what my blog is about. :)

I put this small gift together and then photographed it for the Beginner to Intermediate shadow assignment on Flickr. The shadows and coloring were neat - I like the way it turned out.
