Saturday night dinner: potato gnocchi with vodka red sauce, pine nuts, sun-dried tomatoes, black olives, fresh basil and garlic. Maybe a little too much garlic but it's good. :)

Preventive medicine in case I get delirious and decide to remodel this house again. This floor was originally placed in 1927 - interesting, but not interesting enough for me to want to see it again. More chronicles of remodeling over at Flickr.

Work in progress on the new floors at home. It's a amazing how one little project can cause so much disruption. Well, more appropriately, one little project morphs into one huge event and takes on a life of its own. That becomes the disruption.

Rollin rollin rollin

Keep that paint rollin'. It looks so nice in the pan and on the roller... so nice on the wall... it's that in-between that I dread.

The home remodeling project hit a snag. The paint looks great but as you can see, it's a plywood floor. Actually, the plywood is gone now as the project has gone deeper and it's in the midst of getting the sub-floor replaced. Como se dice en Espanol "Money Pit?" :)
